Hi, I’m Kelsey. I’m a 2010 graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where I studied English and became very interested in media theory – specifically in Marshall McLuhan’s idea that “the medium is the message.”
I wrote a lot of papers and did a lot of projects with this concept in mind, and since I graduated, I’ve been exploring how our use of digital media to convey messages has changed the way we communicate, what we communicate, and even language itself.
I’m especially interested in social media and currently work as Social Media Manager for an interactive company while I do freelance social account management and consulting on the side.
While I eat, sleep and breathe digital media – I dream in 140 characters – I also spend time running, cooking, and practicing photography.
